JEE Main 2014 : Apply from Nov 15th

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main)-2014, to be conducted by the JEE Apex Board of the Central Board of Secondary Education, for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, participating State Government Institutions etc. will be held in the online and offline modes in April, 2014.
For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit/rank list will be prepared by giving 40pc weightage to the Boards marks in Class 12 or equivalent examination and 60pc weightage to JEE(Main) marks. The weightage to school board/equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization.
The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Those seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State Level Examination, should fill in the JEE (Main) -2014 application form online.
The JEE (Main) will also be the eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ ISM Dhanbad. So those aspiring IITs/ISM have to appear for the JEE (Main) and qualify.
JEE (Main)-2014 will have two papers. Paper-1 is for admission to the B.E/B. Tech Programmes and Paper-2, for admissions to the B. Arch./B.Planning Programmes. Applicants may take Paper-1 or Paper-2 or both, depending upon the course(s) they are seeking admission and subject to the subject combination at the qualifying examination, required for each paper.
Paper 1, for admission to B.E/B. Tech will have objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, with equal weightage to the three. This will be conducted in the Pen and Paper Based mode (Offline) as well as Computer Based mode (Online).
Paper 2 for B.Arch./B.Planning admissions (except at IITs) will have objective type questions from Mathematics in Part I and Aptitude Test in Part II. Part III is the Drawing Test with questions to test drawing aptitude of the candidate. This will be held only in the Pen and Paper Based mode.
The offline examination for Paper 1 (B.E/B. Tech) will be held from 9. 30 am to 12.30 pm (IST) on 6.4.2014. The offline examination for Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm (IST) 6.4.2014.
The Online examination (Computer Based Examination) for Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech) Only will be held on 9.4.2014, 11.4.2014, 12.4.2014 and 19.4.2014 in two shifts, with the first shift between 0930-1230 Hours (IST) and 2nd shift (if required) from 1400-1700 Hours(IST).
Eligibility: Those of the General category should have been born or after October 1, 1989. Those belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, born or after October 1, 1984 are eligible to apply.
Only those who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2012 or 2013 or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main)-2014. Those who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2011 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2015 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)- 2014. Those who appeared in class 12th/equivalent qualifying Examinations in 2011, did not pass in 2011, but passed in 2012 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2014. The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) is limited to 3.
Since the states of Maharashtra and Odisha have now joined JEE (Main) system from 2014, the age limit, for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their state level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will however be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs/NITs/IIITs/CFTIs.
Examination Fees: The Fee will depend on the Centre chosen (within India or outside the country), the number of Papers applied (1 or 2), the mode of examination (online or offline), category of the student (General/SC/ST/OBC/PwD) and the gender status (Boy/Girl)
For Examination Centre Opted in India: Only One paper in the Offline Mode: General/OBC: Rs 1000/- (Boys) and Rs.500/- (Girls); SC/ST/PwD: Rs.500/- for Boys and Girls; Two papers in the Offline Mode:  General/OBC: Rs 1800/- (Boys) and Rs.900/- (Girls); SC/ST/PwD: Rs.900/- for Boys and Girls.
For Paper I in the online mode: General/OBC: Rs 600/- (Boys) and Rs.300/- (Girls); SC/ST/PwD: Rs.300/- for Boys and Girls; For Paper I in the online mode & Paper II in the offline mode: General/OBC: Rs 1400/- (Boys) and Rs.700/- (Girls), SC/ST/PwD: Rs.700/- for Boys and Girls.
For Examination Centre Opted in Foreign country: Only One paper in the Offline Mode: General/OBC: Rs 2500/- (Boys) and Rs.1250/- (Girls); SC/ST/PwD: Rs.1250/- for Boys and Girls; Two papers in the Offline Mode: General/OBC: Rs 3800/- (Boys) and Rs.1900/- (Girls); SC/ST/PwD: Rs.1900/- for Boys and Girls; For Paper I in the online mode: General/OBC: Rs 2500/- (Boys) and Rs.1250/- (Girls); SC/ST/PwD: Rs.1250/- for Boys and Girls; For Paper I in the online mode & Paper II in the offline mode: General/OBC: Rs 3800/- (Boys) and Rs.1900/- (Girls); SC/ST/PwD: Rs.1900/- for Boys and Girls
The fee can be remitted either by Debit/Credit Card or through e-Challan, generated after successful submission of online application form. In case the examination fee is paid through credit/debit cards, the candidates will need to pay an additional processing charge of 1.20% of the examination fee plus the service tax as applicable. The fee through e-Challan may be deposited in any branch of Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank or ICICI Bank.
Applications: Applications can be submitted only online only through JEE (Main)-2014 website http://jeemain.nic.in/jeemainapp/Welcome.aspx from 15th November 2013 to 26th December 2013.  The applicant should furnish all the details and upload scanned image of his/her photograph and signature while filling up the ‘On-line’ Application.
Applicants are required to take a print out of the computer generated acknowledgement slip after successful submission of data and payment of fees and keep the same in safe custody for any future reference. Applicants are  not required to send any document to JEE (Main) Secretariat.
Application submission is to be completed in seven steps. Download the information bulletin and read it carefully to ensure eligibility.
Read the contents of Online Format and instructions for applying online given in the Information Bulletin and keep the entire information ready.
Keep the Scanned Images of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression ready in JPG format only. Fill in the online application form Upload scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb Impression.
Pay examination fee by Debit/Credit card or e-Challan (generated after submission of details in online application form). Download Acknowledgement Slip and keep the same in safe custody.
Applicant should mention only his/her own or parents’ mobile no. and Email ID while submitting the On-Line application, as all the communications will be sent to the candidates on their registered Mobile Number and E-mail ID only.
The eligibility criteria for JEE(Main) and JEE (Advanced) are different. Those desirous of applying should read the information bulletin to ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) as well as JEE (Advanced).
Facilitation Centres will function free of charge, across the country to help aspiring candidates in filling online application. The list of such institutes will be available on the JEE (Main) website and in JEE (Main)-2014 information bulletin.

Kerala MBBS/BDS Admission : Second Allotment tomorrow

The second phase of allotment for admission to MBBS/BDS courses 2013 will begin on August 27, 2013.

According to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), the candidates who have already received allotment in the previous allotment can re-arrange / delete their higher options and also register fresh options to newly added colleges from 27.08.2013 to 3 pm on 30.08.2013 through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
On the basis of options received within the stipulated time, the second phase allotment will be published on 03.09.2013.
Candidates who receive the second allotment shall take a print out of their allotment memo and remit the fees/ balance fees payable to the CEE, in one of the designated branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) from 04.09.2013 to 07.09.2013. The list of designated branches of SBT is available on the website.
All candidates who receive allotment through the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) should join the allotted colleges from 04.09.2013 to 07.09.2013. They should report for admission to the principal of the allotted colleges along with a print out of their second phase allotment memo, Data Sheet of KEAM 2013 and originals of all documents specified in Clause 11.7.1 of the prospectus. Balance fees/interest free deposit/bank guarantee to be remitted in the college, if any, should be given at the time of admission.
The Principals of colleges should forward the non-joining report to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations online and its signed printout by fax at 5.30 pm on 07.09.2013 without fail.
The candidates who fail to join the allotted colleges on the scheduled dates will lose their allotment and all their higher options. They will be removed from the entire allotment process. The allotment made by the CEE in this phase will be the final allotment to the Colleges under Kerala Professional College Managements’ Federation and in Dr.Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Karakkonam, Thiruvananthapuram. Hence, candidates who got allotment to the following colleges and fail to remit fees and eventually do not take admission will be penalised as envisaged in Clause 12.2.4(c) of the Prospectus.

The Higher Options of candidates who got allotment in these Colleges after 2nd phase of allotment will be treated as cancelled.
The new colleges and courses for which fresh options can be registered in the 2nd phase of allotment are furnished  DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences, Meppadi (P.O) Wayanad (MBBS - 150 seats) and St. Gregorious Dental College, Chelad, Kothamangalam (BDS - 40 seats)
In newly-sanctioned DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences, 20 per cent seats under Management Quota (30 seats) will also be allotted by the CEE from the NEET (UG) 2013 rank list on the basis of merit and options exercised by the candidates.

New in GATE 2014

  • A new paper “Ecology and Evolution” is introduced in GATE 2014.
  • Examinations for all the 22 papers will be conducted by an ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT). The online examination paper will contain some questions for which numerical answers must be keyed in by the candidate using the virtual keypad. Rest of the questions shall be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type.
  • GATE 2014 examinations will be held during forenoon and afternoon sessions on alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) between 1st February 2014 and 2nd March 2014. Examination for some of the papers in GATE 2014 will be held in multiple sessions. Exact details on complete examination schedule will be notified at a later date.

MCC Round 3 : Results published


The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has published Round 3 results of All India Quota (NEET) UG counseling.
The MCC had withdrawn the results earlier on the day soon after it was published due to some technical reasons that crept in during the result publication. However, the results have been made available to the students on MCC website.
Candidates whose category has been up-graded in the same institution and subject, are required to get online generated relieving letter and get admitted on the upgraded category seat from the allotted institution. Such candidate must get fresh online generated admission letter for the up-graded category seat otherwise the allotted seat will be cancellaed due to non-admission, the MCC has said on its website.
Some candidates have been allotted same subject (course), college and category in Round 3, in which he/she was already admitted during earlier Round, from the choices submitted by him/her. The results are available at http://mcc.nic.in/mccres/Result/AI_-_UG_()_Rund3.pdf
As per the final schedule for UG counseling, the candidates who are included in Round 3 should report at the allotted medical/dental colleges between August 19 and 5 pm on August 29.
Transfer of vacant seats will take place on August 30, 2013.

KTET 2013 : Apply by August 24

Application is invited for KTET (Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test) for year 2013. K-TET 2013 will be conducted on the month of September and October.

Separate test will be conducted to select teachers for Category I (Lower Primary classes), Category II (Upper Primary classes) Category III (High School classes) and Category IV ( for Language Teachers - Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu ( up to UP classes), Specialist Teachers (Art & Craft) and Physical Education teachers.

PG Medical Allotment process begins

The activities related to the Single Window System of allotment to Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma Courses for the year 2013 commenced on July 7, 2013 (Sunday).
The General Quota candidates included in the merit list and category lists prepared and published by the CEE on the basis of the Kerala State Rank list of NEET-PG 2012 provided by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and the Service Quota candidates included in the rank lists prepared by the Heads of Departments concerned on the basis of service seniority among the qualified candidates in NEET-PG 2012, can register their options on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from July 7, 2013 to July 9, 2013, 5 pm.
Candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. Before registering their options, the candidates can download and take the printout of the Admit card by providing the details such as Application No., Date of Birth, NEET-PG 2012 Testing ID and the Password created at the time of submission of online application.
The Admit Card bears a Roll Number and a Key Number which the candidate can use for option entry process. The Roll Number and Key Number are candidate specific which are available only to the candidates and should not be disclosed to others who may misuse this, for which the CEE/Government will not be responsible.
The list of Medical Colleges/Courses to which the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations makes allotment is provided in the Home page of the candidate. Candidates can give options as per their priority of the Course-College combinations in the option list.
A candidate need only give options to a Course-College combination if he/she is sure to join the course and college, if allotted. Options registered online alone will be considered for allotment to the courses. Options sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations via Post/Fax/E-mail will not be processed /considered for allotment to the courses.
The schedule for the first phase of allotment:
07.07.2013: Opening of the option registration facility.
10.07.2013 – 5 pm: Closing of option registration facility.
11.07.2013: First allotment
12.07.2013, 13.07.2013: All candidates who get an allotment shall remit the fee shown in the allotment memo at selected branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT).
15.07.2013, 16.07.2013 & 17.07.2013: All candidates should join the course and college to which they are allotted along with the required documents and Fee Receipt.
18.07.2013, 5 pm: Submission of non-joining report by the college authorities before 5 pm.
Candidates allotted to courses, and who remit the fee as prescribed, should take admission in the college allotted as per the schedule prescribed by the CEE. Candidates who do not remit the prescribed fees/take admission will lose their allotment as well as the claims for further online allotments, if any.
No extension of time for reporting to the college will be granted under any circumstances. The candidates are liable to pay admission fee as prescribed by the University concerned at the time of admission.

  • The fees for PG Degree courses (clinical) at Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram, is Rs 6,00,000/- and Non-Clinical is Rs 2,40,000/- while fee for  PG Diploma course (Clinical) is Rs 4,50,000/-
  • The fees for PG Degree courses (clinical) at private self-financing medical colleges is Rs 6,00,000/- and Non-Clinical
    Rs 2,40,000/- whereas the fee for  PG Diploma course (Clinical) is Rs 4,50,000/-

* SC/ST/OEC candidates under General Quota are exempted from payment of fees. However they have to pay an amount of Rs 1000/- as token of having accepted the allotment. The allotment to Colleges/Courses will be subject to recognition of All India Regulatory Bodies / Affiliation from the Universities.

Ph.D at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has invited applications for its Ph.D. programme in Basic Sciences commencing on September 2, 2013 under the aegis of HBNI.
Selection Process :
Selection for the Ph.D. programme is a two-step process:
Screening for Physical and Chemical Sciences shall be on the basis of the rank obtained/marks scored in the UGC-CSIR-JRF NET. Screening for Life Sciences shall be on the basis of the rank obtained / marks scored in the UGC-CSIR-JRF NET or similar NET conducted by the DBT, ICAR or ICMR. Additional criteria based on previous academic performance in the MSc and/or BSc examinations may be used for screening.
Short-listed candidates shall be called for interview to be conducted in second half of July, 2013 at the BARC Training School, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400 094.
Applicants called for interview will not be paid any train / bus fare.
Eligibility
a. Qualifying Degree and other academic qualifications:
Those having M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Biology or related science subjects with minimum 60%* marks in M.Sc. as well as in B.Sc. are eligible to apply. *A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university.
Applicants in the Physical Sciences should have a M.Sc. in Physics with Physics and Mathematics up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and/or ancillary level in case of five years integrated M.Sc.
Applicants in the Chemical Sciences should have a M.Sc. in Chemistry with Mathematics up to XII std and Physics up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and/or ancillary level in case of five years integrated M.Sc.
Applicants in the Life Sciences should have M.Sc. in any one out of Agriculture, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Botany, Zoology, Plant Science, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Food Technology, Animal Science, Life Sciences and Biosciences with Physics or Chemistry or Biochemistry or Agriculture Chemistry up to B.Sc. or at subsidiary and/or ancillary level in case of five year integrated M.Sc.
Those whose final results of qualifying degree are awaited can also apply. In the event of selection, mark sheet of final result confirming eligibility as above, should be submitted by November 30, 2013.
b. Nationality: Applicant must be a citizen of India.
c. Fellowship for undertaking Ph. D. Programme:
Candidates should have a valid fellowship for undertaking Ph. D. work at BARC, available through the NET examinations conducted by UGC-CSIR, DBT, ICAR or ICMR, for pursuing the Ph.D. work.

KEAM 2013 FIRST ALLOTMENT PUBLISHED




The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has published the first phase of allotment to Professional Degree Courses (Except MBBS/BDS) 2013 today. It is accessible on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.  The details of allotment are available on the home page of the candidate. The candidates should take print out of the first phase allotment memo and submit it before the college authorities at the time of admission.

Those candidates who receive allotment shall remit the fees as specified in the first phase allotment memo at designated branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) from 04.07.2013 to 06.07.2013 in order to accept the allotment. The list of SBT branches is available on the website.

All candidates shall report for admission in the respective colleges as per the admission schedule already published on the website, along with the first phase allotment memo, data sheet and originals of all documents specified in Clause 11.7.1 of the prospectus. The Candidates who got allotment in Private Self financing Engineering Colleges should remit the balance fees mentioned in the allotment memo in the respective colleges at the time of admission.

Those candidates who do not remit the fees or do not join the respective institutions within the stipulated time will lose their allotment and also higher options. They will be removed from the entire allotment process. All Colleges should furnish the non-joining report to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations at 5.30 pm on 08.07.2013.

The activities relating to the second phase of allotment will commence on 10.07.2013. The website will be opened from 10.07.2013 to 11.07.2013 5 pm for rearrangement of existing options and cancellation of higher options.

The allotment to Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges will come to an end with the 2nd Phase of allotment scheduled on 13.07.2013. JEE Rank List Delayed. Publish on July 2nd


The Central Board of Secondary Education has clarified that the JEE (Main) Ranks will be available for viewing today. CBSE has also notified the Helpline number 8506061071 to 78, in this regard. They can also be contacted by mail, at jeemain@nic.in

  • All India Ranks of Candidates of JEE MAIN 2013 :- 1st July, 2013.
  • Registration for CSAB 2013 :- 1-5th July, 2013.
  • Choice locking by the candidates :- 6-8th July.
  • Result of First round of seat allotment of JEE MAIN Counselling 2013 :- 9th July, 2013.
  • Candidates Report at reporting centres with verified documents 2013 :- 9th to 12th July, 2013.
  • Second Round seat allotment 2013 :- 14th July, 2013.

M.Tech at NITTTR, Chennai

The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR),  Chennai has invited applications for admission to Master of Technology (Human Resource Development) [M.Tech. (HRD)] of 2013-15 session.
Eligibility:
Candidates holding a Degree in Engineering / Technology of any University recognized by the Syndicate of University of Madras as equivalent thereto.
Sponsorship:
Engineering College and Polytechnic teachers with B.E./B.Tech. qualification working in the Southern Region are eligible to be sponsored by their respective Directorate of Technical Education.
Selection Process:The following are the criteria for selection:
i. Marks obtained in the B.E./B.Tech. (II year to Final year) - 60%
ii. Aptitude Test - 40%
The written test comprises of 120 objective test items and one or two structured questions to assess the aptitude, entry behaviour, career goal, likely contribution, etc.
The rank order will be prepared based on merit.

JEE Advanced : Result Published

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) result for the admission into Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) was declared on today, two days before of schedule. Only the top 1,50,000 students in JEE(Main) were allowed to sit for the JEE (Advanced) exam, which was held on June 2, 2013 (through offline).
The JEE (Advanced)-2013 examination included two objective type papers. Each paper consisted of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admissions to IITs will be based only on category wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced) subject to the condition that such candidates are in the top 20 percentile of successful candidates of their Boards in applicable categories.

KEAM 2013 : Option Registration from today

Candidates who have been included in the Engineering, Medical (Except MBBS / BDS) rank lists published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala and candidates who have submitted NATA score and qualifying marks for preparation of the Architecture Rank list to be published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala, will have the facility to register options for allotments to various courses and colleges for admission to the Professional Degree Courses, Keralaup to 3 pm on 30-06-2013 (Sunday). 
The activities related to option registration will be undertaken at the site,www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
The first allotment will be announced on July 3. 
Those getting allotted will have to remit the fee at one of the notified branches of SBT and get admitted in the Colleges allotted on 4th, 5th or 6th July, 2013.
Colleges will submit to the CEE, the non-joining report by 5 pm on 8th July.  Students will get the facility to rearrange and cancel higher options from 10th July 2013 up to 3 pm on 11th July, 2013.
The second allotment will be announced on 13th July, 2013. This will also be the last allotment to Government seats in Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges. Those allotted to Private Self-financing Colleges will have to remit the fee and join the college on 15th July.
Candidates allotted to colleges other than Private Self-financing Colleges will have to remit fee and join colleges concerned on 15th, 16th or 17th July, 2013.
Colleges will submit to the CEE, the non-joining report by 5 pm on 19th July.

KERALA ENTRANCE 2013 : Engineering Rank List Today

The Kerala Engineering Rank List 2013, prepared by equal weightage for the marks in the Engineering Entrance Examination and the Standardized marks of the three science subjects will be released on 18th June, 2013 a week earlier than expected. This is the third time in Kerala, that the marks in the three science subjects of the Qualifying Examination (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry /Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology) are also considered for preparing the Engineering Rank list.

The marks secured by candidates in the Engineering Entrance Examination were announced on 23.5.2013. The number of candidates qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination is 74226.

Subsequently, candidates were given time to enter the marks of their qualifying examination and the same was published for approval. The rank list is now being announced based on these data.

Kerala Plus Two Admission: First Allotment Published

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has published the first phase allotment results for admission to Higher Secondary Schools in the state. The details of first allotment are available at www.hscap.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can see their allotment by entering their application number, date of birth and selecting the concerned district to which he/she has applied. 

The applicants who got first allotment should download and print allotment slip from the site and take admission in the allotted schools before June 19, 5 pm. The applicant who got allotment for their first option must get permanent admission by remitting the required fees. The candidates allotted to the lower options may opt for temporary admission without remitting the fees and wait for the second allotment results. Such candidates can cancel some of their higher options if required. They can also take permanent admission in the presently allotted schools.

This year, a total of 4,92,923 candidates applied for the single window process for admission to higher secondary schools. Out of which 1,88,475 students got allotment in the first phase. The total number seats available for higher secondary course in the state is 3,35,400. In which 2,18,249 seats under the merit quota is considered for admission through the single window process.

The directorate will soon notify for a supplementary allotment process. The students not yet applied for admission including SAY exam winners and those who qualified in CBSE school level examination can apply for the supplementary allotment. 

The sports quota allotment will be published in the website on June 19. The candidates allotted under sports quota must take their admission before June 20, 5 pm.

JEE : Result on 23rd, IIT admission from 24th


The Results of JEE (Advanced)-2013 based on which admissions to IITs are made will be announced on Sunday, 23rd June, 2013. Successful candidates need to log in and give their choices for courses offered by the sixteen IITs and ISM, Dhanbad, from 24th June till 30th June, 2013. The first list of seat allocation will be announced online by 4th July, 2013.
Those desirous of joining the B.Arch programme (available at IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur) will have to qualify an Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). This test will be held at IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee from 9.00 A.M to 12.00 Noon on Friday, 28th June, 2013. In order to appear in this test, the student has to register online for AAT between 24th and 25th June, 2013 at the JEE(Advanced) portal.
JEE (Advanced)-2013, for admissions to undergraduate programmes at all IITs and ISM, Dhanbad, was held on Sunday, 2nd June, 2013. The answer key for both Paper-1 and Paper-2 of this exam will be displayed at the JEE (Advanced) websites of zonal IITs on 11th June, 2013.
The student can view his/her answer sheet and marks obtained between 14th and 17th June, 2013 at the same website. There will also be a provision for the student to request for review of specific questions and its marks. The student will have to pay a fees of Rs.500 for each question to be reviewed.
