KEAM : Second allotment today

The second allotment of admission to the Medicial and Engineering courses in Kerala by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations based on the options registered by candidates from 10 am on 26.07.2009 to 5 pm on 31.07.2009 will be announced today . Candidates allotted to all courses should remit fee/balancefee/deposit at the select branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) during 10th,11th and 12th August. Simultaneously students have to get admission in the concerned colleges.

There is a time schedule for admission in the colleges.

Last date for cancellation of admission in Private Selffinancing Engineering Colleges is 14.08.2009 .Classes to begin for all Courses on 17th August.

The candidates allotted to Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges in the second allotment will not be eligible for higher order options. Those who are allotted to Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges, but do not take admission in the Colleges concerned will get the refund of fees they remitted. Those who take admission in the Colleges concerned can cancel their admission till 14.08.2009 and they will get the refund of fees remitted at the Bank. Those who cancel admission after 14.08.2009 will have to remit the entire course fee to get the TC and other documents. There will not be any further allotment to these Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges after the Second allotment.
