One more chance to join Cusat for BTech

The Cochin University of Science and Technology ( Cusat) has decided to have another round of admission counseling on 27th August for BTech. A notification has been issued by the university this evening in this context. The latest counselling will be for vacant payments seats and NRI seats.

Counseling and admission to the remaining vacant seats will be held on 27th of August 2009 at the Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering, CUSAT (Thrikkakkara) Campus, Kochi 682022 as per the following Schedule.

Candidates in the CAT-2009 rank list who have not applied for NRI category earlier and wish to take admission under NRI category can register. Candidates who have already applied under NRI Category are not eligible. Time : 9.30 am to 10 am

Candidates registered for counseling on 12th, 13th, 14th & 18th of August 2009 and did not get allotment in any branch can register. Time : 11 am to 11.30 am.

Candidates in the CAT-2009 rank list who have not registered their options through online also can register. Time : 11 am to 11.30 am.

Candidates having eligibility mentioned above may report for counseling on the date, time and venue indicated in the schedule given above with all the required certificates/documents in original and the required fee. (Please see Instructions in the website www.cusat.ac.in). All Candidates are advised to read carefully the instructions given in the above web site.

Candidates who are already admitted/updated need not register for the above counseling/admission, as they will be updated automatically based on their higher options. However, such candidates should remit additional fees, if any, within two days from the date of publication of final admitted list failing which their admission shall be cancelled without further notice.

Candidates who take admission under NRI category as per the above schedule are not eligible for any further updations based on their higher options. Candidates who are already admitted in other Institutions should produce the proof of admission in such Institution along with original/attested copies of all certificates /documents.
