The students waiting for the SSLC March 2011 examination results which will be announced later today will have a plethora of options to know their outcome. The IT@School project under the Education Department of the Kerala Government has made extensive arrangements for prompt declaration of results.
Students can check the results online on the SSLC 2011 results website (http://results.itschool.gov.in/) after the Education Minister announces it today evening. The students will have to give the Register Number to get the results. IT@School is using Content Delivery Network (CDN) system to push the content faster. This technology ensures that the website remains accessible despite lakhs of students trying to get the results at the same time. Students can take a print out of the mark sheet for further admissions.
Another site that the students can check out is the Kerala Examinations Results 2011website (http://keralaresults.nic.in/) hosted by National Informatics Centre (NIC).
Students can also register their mobile number on the IT@School website so that they can get the SSLC results by SMS after the announcement. To avoid misuse, only results of two register numbers are allowed for a mobile number and result of one register number is restricted to a maximum of two mobile numbers. There is also a provision on the website for schools to get group results. Each mobile number will get a maximum of 20 results.
A record 5 lakh students have appeared for the SSLC March 2011 examinations from Kerala and the Middle East. This is probably the first time that the SSLC results are being declared in April.
