The second AP Science Congress organised jointly by AP Academy of Sciences, Hyderabad and Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, would be held from November 14 to 16 in the temple town. SVU Vice Chancellor N Prabhakar Rao said here today, the AP Academy of Sciences would conduct 'Andhra Pradesh Science Congress(APSC) every year to commemorate the birthday of the former Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who is the architect of modern India''.
As many as 500 students, including young scientists from all over the country would participate in the Congress which provide a platform for scientists and students to exchange ideas, discuss and formulate strategies, the sources said.
The theme encompasses five major scientific sessions, including Life and Agricultural, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Health, Earth Systems and Atmospheric Sciences, Engineering and Physics and Mathematics the sources added.
