The all important Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination results for the year 2010 will be declared on May 3, according to informed sources in the Education Department. A meeting of the Pass Board for the Examination will be held tomorrow in Thiruvananthapuram in which the pass percentage for the examination will be finalised and approved. Education Minister M.A.Baby is expected to convene a press conference on the morning of May 3 to announce the results.
The results of the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations are expected to be published by the second week of May.
Around 4,50,167 candidates had written the SSLC examinations in the ‘regular' category, while as many as 1,351 candidates had appeared as private candidates. The valuation of the papers have been completed in the stipulated time and the results are being announced as per the schedule announced by the Directorate of Public Instruction.
