The National Law University, New Delhi has invited applications for admission to BA, LL.B(Hons.), LL.M and PhD programmes for the academic year 2012-13 commencing from August 2012.
Eligibility:
(i) FIVE-YEAR BA, LL.B (Hons.):
Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent Examination with 50% of marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2012 can also apply.

Age: Below 21 years as on 1 July, 2012 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates).
Total Seats: 80 [70 seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit]. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
Note: One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants after approval from Governing Council of the University. The candidates have to apply, appear in the Entrance Test and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable.
(ii) LL.M:
Eligibility: LL.B or an equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). The candidates appearing in final LL.B examination in April/May, 2012 can also apply.

Total Seats: 20 + 5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from Entrance Test.

(iii) PhD :
Eligibility: To be admitted to the candidature for a Doctoral degree an applicant should have:
(i) obtained a Master's Degree in law of any recognised university securing not less than 55% marks or its equivalent or
(ii) obtained a degree in law and Masters Degree with MPhil in social sciences or humanities of any recognised university with not less than 55% marks or its equivalent, provided that candidates with qualifications in social sciences and humanities may be admitted to the programme if the research they wish to pursue interface with the discipline of law with a special focus on Public Policy or Law or
(iii) Degree in law and PhD in any discipline or
(iv) Judge of any State High Court in India with three years experience or Judge of Supreme Court of India.
Eligibility: To be admitted to the candidature for a Doctoral degree an applicant should have:
