Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) invites applications for recruitment 2010 of Trained Graduate Teachers, Primary Teacher and Misc. Teaching Posts for the year 2011-2012. For TGT Posts subjects are English, Hindi, SST, Science, Sanskrit, Maths, Art Education (AE), TGT-(WE) and Physical and Health Education.
Candidates can apply through downloaded Application Form from KVS’s website Last date for receipt of application is 30th Nov 2010 and for remote areas is 7th December, 2010.
1. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT): Qualification required is 4 Years Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in related subject with 50% marks OR 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in related subject. B.Ed. or equivalent Degree with Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English is also required.
2. Librarian (LIB): Qualification required is Degree in Library Science OR Graduation with one year Diploma in Library Science.
3. Primary Teacher (592 Posts): Qualification required is Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% OR Intermediate with 50% marks and Diploma or Certificate in Basic Teachers’ Training of two years OR B.El.Ed. OR B.Ed.
4. PRT – Music : 14 Posts
Application fee of Rs. 750 into Account No.405046333 with the Indian Bank, Mehrauli Institutional Area, New Delhi–110016 (Branch Code – 943). Challan to pay fee is available to download at KVS’s Website. Fee Payment Challan should be filled in BLOCK LETTERS. There is no fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PH/ Women Candidates.
Application fee can also be transferred through other Bank also. If fee is submitted through any other Bank other than the Indian Bank, candidates are required to provide following to the remitting Banker:

Selection process includes Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview.
Preliminary Examination for TGT & Lib and PRT & Music will be held on 12th Feb 2011. Main Examination for TGT & Lib and PRT & Music will be held on 9th April 2011.
