MTech admission 2012 at IIT Rajasthan

 Indian Institute of Technology Rajasthan, Jodhpur  (IIT Rajasthan) has invited applications for admission to interdisciplinary MTech programmes (Regular and Full-time) of the academic year commencing in July 2012 :

(i) Centre of Excellence in Energy 
(ii) Centre of Excellence in Information and Communication Technology
(iii) Centre of Excellence in Systems Science for the academic year commencing from July 2012.

Minimum Educational Qualifications :
(Applicants must have mathematics background at +2 level.)
Programme, Qualifying Degree, Minimum Marks in Qualifying Degree and Requirements in the Order :

(i) MTech in ICT :
BTech / BE in Computer Science and Engineering / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Mechanical / Instrumentation / Engineering Physics / Biotechnology / or equivalent (OR) MSc in Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / or equivalent
(a) GN / OBC : minimum 60% or CPI of 6.5/10 or CGPA of 2.6/4 or First class or equivalent.
(b) SC / ST / PH : minimum 55% or CPI of 6/10 or a CGPA of 2.4/4
Valid GATE* Score in the disciplines CS / EC / EE / ME / PH / IN / MA / XE or in respective and relevant discipline.

(ii) MTech in Energy :
BTech / BE in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Sciences / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Metallurgy / Material Science / Biotechnology / Civil Engineering / Engineering Physics / or equivalent (OR) MSc in Physics / Chemistry / Energy Science / Applied Science / Mathematics / Biotechnology / or equivalent.

(a) GN / OBC : Minimum 60% or CPI of 6.5/10 or CGPA of 2.6/4 or First class or equivalent.
(b) SC / ST / PH : Minimum 55% or CPI of 6/10 or a CGPA of 2.4/4
Valid GATE* Score in the disciplines BT / CE / EE / CH / CY / ME / IN / MT / MA / PH / XE or in respective and relevant discipline.

(iii) MTech in Systems Science :
BTech / BE in Computer Science and Engineering / Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Engineering Physics / Biotechnology / or equivalent. (OR) MSc / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Physics or equivalent.
(a) GN / OBC : Minimum 60% or CPI of 6.5/10 or CGPA of 2.6/4 or First class or equivalent
(b) SC / ST / PH : Minimum 55% or CPI of 6/10 or a CGPA of 2.4/4
