The Registration options in connection with the allotment to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, for 2012-13 will commence on 21.6.2012.
Schedule: Those included in the Medical Rank list, candidates who have qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination and submitted their mark sheet for the preparation of Engineering Rank list and those who have submitted their NATA score and marks of Qualifying examination for preparation of Architecture Rank list can register options at the sitewww.cee.kerala.gov.in till 3 pm on 5.7.2012.
Based on the options registered till a time point, a trial allotment will be conducted on 2nd July, 2012. This would give an indication of the chances for allotment, based on the options registered by candidates. They will get the facility to modify their options based on this. However, there is no guarantee that a candidate would retain the trial allotment received, in the actual allotment. The first allotment will be announced at 5 pm on 8th July, 2012.
Those who get allotment have to remit the amount stated in their allotment memo at one of the identified branches of State Bank of Travancore, between 9th and 11th of July, 2012, to accept the allotment.
Fees Structure and Share of Seats: Commissioner for Entrance Examination will be making allotments to Government/Aided/Colleges under Kerala Agriculture/Veterinary/Fisheries Universities (Under Government category), 50 % Government seats and 35 % Management seats in Government/University Controlled Self financing colleges (25% Management seats in SCT) (Under Govt/University Controlled Self financing category) and 50% seats in Private Self financing Colleges.
Engineering: The Fee for B Tech/B Arch in Government/Aided Engineering Colleges will be Rs.6200/-. There are 12 Engineering Colleges in this category.
In Government Controlled and University Controlled Self financing Engineering Colleges, the fee in Government seats would be Rs.35000/- and that in the Management seats would be Rs.65000/-. There are 23 Engineering Colleges in this category.
For the 91 Private self financing Engineering Colleges under the Kerala Self Financing Engineering College Managements Association, the fee would be Rs.40000/- for 50% of the 50% Government seats and 65,000/- for the remaining 50% of the Government seats. In the 12 Engineering Colleges under the Kerala Catholic Engineering College Managements Association, the fee would be Rs.75000/- with an interest free refundable deposit of Rs.1,00,000/.
All candidates getting allotment in these Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges will have to remit an amount of Rs.10000/- in an identified branch of State Bank of Travancore, to accept the allotment. The balance amount has to be remitted in the college concerned at the time of joining the colleges.
For Private self financing Engineering Colleges, options registered by candidates would be valid for four rounds of allotment only. Those standing allotted in such a college after four rounds of allotment will not have his/her higher options retained. Candidates getting allotted to these colleges will have the facility to cancel their allotment during the first three rounds only.
For B Tech Agriculture Engineering in Kerala Agricultural University, the semester fee would be Rs.9000/- while for B Tech in Food Engineering (Self financing), the semester fee would be Rs.26,500/- For B Tech (Dairy Science & Technology) under the Kerala Veterinary University, the fee would be Rs.3100/- per semester.
Fee structure for the Medical Courses is as follows:
MBBS (Government Medical Colleges) - Rs25000/- (5 Colleges)
MBBS (Government Controlled Self Financing) – Rs.1,50,000/- for State Merit (2 Colleges). Of this, in CMC Kochi, 7 students of the low income Group and 13 students of SEBC category would get a concession fee of Rs.25000/- the beneficiaries for which would be identified after the closure of allotments. Here the 35% Management seats are also being allotted by the Commissioner and the seats would carry a fee of Rs.6,50,000/- At Pariyaram, 10 students of the low income Group and 13 students of SEBC category would get a concession fee of Rs.25000/- the beneficiaries for which would be identified after the closure of allotments.
In the Private self financing Medical colleges, the fee in Government quota would be Rs.1,50,000/- Here too, 14% allotted under the Government Quota of the low income Group and 26% students of SEBC category would get a concession fee of Rs.25000/- the beneficiaries for which would be identified after the closure of allotments.
